ADAT Input Amplifiers
Unleash the power of Intel® Desktop boards' Surround Sound capabilities!
Intel® Media Series and Extreme Series motherboards with ViivTM technology have fantastic surround sound processing capabilities, and Simplifi's ADAT amplifier allows users to take their audio experience to a whole new level. Simplifi's 7075A ADAT amplifier accepts up to 8 digital channels of uncompressed audio from a Media Center featuring Intel® ViivTM Technology, resulting in a rich, virtually noise free listening experience.
How Do I Know If My Motherboard Supports the 7075A amplifier?
The Model 7075A amplifier uses ADAT (Alesis Digital Audio Tape) for audio transport from the Media Center. ADAT is a professional, eight channel, optical audio standard that is supported on Intel® Extreme and Media Series motherboards. With this architecture, all sound processing is done in the digital domain within the Media Center and is sent optically to the ADAT amplifier, where it is converted into the analog domain just before power amplification. Moving the digital to analog conversion into the amplifier chassis isolates this conversion process from the inevitable electrical noise that a Media Center generates, yielding crystal clear audio. Intel® Extreme and Media Series motherboards also feature Intel Audio Studio 2.0, which supports a variety of speaker configurations and uses Sonic Focus or Dolby Labs audio technologies for enhanced surround sound processing.
